Take Your Motorhome Rental to Hunsader Farm, Bradenton, FL

October 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2012

Hunsader Farm’s Pumpkin Festival is one of the best in southwest Florida.  Held the last three weekends in October, the festival attracts people from all over the country.  Admission is $8 per person, 12 years old and under free, and includes live music and shows, hayrides, petting zoo, pumpkin cannon, frog jumping championship and more.  For an additional $2 fee, you can test your navigational skills in the corn maze.

Purchase fresh produce from the Hunsader Farmer’s market, or pick your own from fields of green beans, eggplant, okra, tomatoes, broccoli, cantaloupes, watermelons, and, of course, squash and pumpkins.  Call the u-pick hotline to learn which vegetables are in season during your motorhome rental weekend. Also, be sure to visit the craft vendor area where you will find unique gifts that can give you a head start on your holiday shopping.

Schedule Your Motorhome Rental Weekend During the Snohomish Festival of Pumpkins, Snohomish Valley, WA

September 22 – October 31, 2012

The Snohomish Festival of Pumpkins sees over 200,000 visitors each year and boasts numerous events scheduled throughout the fall.  This special festival is designed to keep local farmers in production–visit all six farms in the comfort of your motorhome rental!

A local favorite event in the Puget Sound area is Brewfest where visitors receive five 4 oz. beer tastes with an Oktoberfest dinner, featuring the original “Snohomish Brewfest” sausage, hot German potato salad, dilled cucumber salad, and a black forest cupcake.  Brewfest is a two day event, October 26 and 27, 2012.

The Farmstead Corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival, Meridian, ID: A Sure Bet for Your Motorhome Rental Weekend

September 21 – November 3, 2012

Kids can take part in dozens of activities including a ride on the popular cow train, or cheer on the pigs as they race toward their cookie treats. Visitors can pick off the vine in the pumpkin patch or choose from already-picked pumpkins, gourds and Indian corn. Park your motorhome rental at the Boise Meridian RV Resort–the gateway to the Sawtooth Mountains.

The Farmstead festival has unique events you won’t want to miss:

• MAiZE Creations – Look no further for one of the best corn mazes in the country!  The 18-acre maze has visitors guessing all the way, – clues  are provided at twists and turns in scarecrow land.  Visitors can even text for clues!
• Field of Screams – A portion of the corn field is transformed into a weekend night terror trip through the MAiZE creation.  Not for the weak stomach!
• Pumpkin Poll – New this election year is the Farmstead Presidential Edition 2012 – Farmstead’s take on the straw poll! Cast your presidential vote for fun with your feet by choosing either the Obama or Romney corn maze.  Vote online or at the Pumpkin Poll.
• Farmstead 5K Challenge or the Fun Run – Costumes are encouraged to fully embrace Halloween.  The race course takes you through the twists and turns of the corn maze, over bales of straw and across the top of a large inflated jumping pillow.  This one-day event is held on October 27 and is followed by an All-Idaho farm fresh breakfast.  Register online or in person for the 5K Challenge on Team Romney, Team Obama, or Team Farmstead!
